B2B Marine Contributes to Breakthrough Carbon Capture System with ME2CC Consortium
B2B Marine is proud to be part of the ME2CC (Maritime Efficient & Easy Carbon Capture) consortium, which has secured funding under the Dutch Maritime Masterplan 2024 program. The project, led by Value Maritime, aims to develop and demonstrate a compact, modular carbon capture system onboard the LNG-powered Samskip Kvitbjorn.
As a consortium member, B2B Marine will provide full operational, Project management and engineering consultancy.
The consortium includes Value Maritime, Samskip Holding, B2B Marine, Fusie Engineers, Devoteq, Brusche Process Technology, Heatmaster, and Yard Energy Group. The captured CO₂ will be offloaded and regenerated onshore for reuse, supporting maritime decarbonization in a scalable and practical way.
